Chiist University provides student the opportunity to incorporate cultural based research to achieve relevant educational skills that they can use to improve and uplift their communities as well as for their own personal growth and objectives. Nation building and service to their communities are imperatives of Chiist education.

Mission

  • To expand African intellectual relevance in the comity of world institutes of higher learning.
  • To produce graduates who are committed to nation building, create job opportunities, not join the lines of job seekers.
  • To create transformative leaders for African societies through the development of sound leadership skills, emotive and critical concern and compassion for the masses through creativity and innovation.
  • To integrate dynamism in custodial responsibility of the African traditions that promotes high moral quality and integrity while embracing global mandates for societal growth and sustainability.

Purposes

  • To advance cognitive and expressive student erudition—knowledge, proficiency, and ethical standards which can be applied at work and other relevant settings.
  • To cultivate proficiency in communication, critical prudence, partnerships and collaborative skills, information consumption and use with a dedication to enduring education
  • Using Faculty who are already applying the theories the students learn in the operation of real life situations and the skills that such applications generate.
  • To provide general educational principles and cultural mandates that prepares students for advanced academic achievement.
  • To incorporate technology as the main instrument in instruction and increased access to learning measures and instruments which improve and increase team building and collaborative imperatives.
  • To measure student knowledge gain and assess the effectiveness of teaching systems to assure continued growth and learning. Changes in curriculum and instruction methods may need modification as necessary to maintain on-gong quality assurance.
  • To be structured as a for-profit establishment to advance an atmosphere of academic enhancement, innovative enlightenment that spotlight academic excellence, community service, and convenience to young adults and older working adult members of the community.
  • To produce financial capital essential to sustain the University’s operation and mission.
