Dr.
Uwa Onyioha-Osimiri,
Dr.
Uwa Onyioha-Osimiri, PhD, is the Founder, Chancellor and
President of Chiist University. She is also the Senior
Spiritual Minister and Continental Envoy for the Global
Faith Ministries Network. The Global Faith Ministries
is a Spiritual Ministry, which works with other faith-based
institutions, to promote peace and tolerance amongst world
religions.
Additionally,
she is the Founder and CEO of the African Women Economic
Consortium (AWEC). The African Women Economic Consortium
is a non profit 501 (C)( 3) organization founded in 2002
as an organization of women of diverse racial, social,
educational and spiritual backgrounds who have recognized
the need for proactive action for change in the lives
of women and children locally, nationally and globally.
Dr.
Uwa Osimiri was an official delegate to the first Africa's
Most Senior Religious Leadership Conference on HIV/AIDS
and Orphaned Children held in Nairobi Kenya, on June 9-12,
2002, sponsored by the United Nations World Council of
Religions for Peace (WCRP). An Ambassador for Peace, she
participated at the International Leadership Conferences
entitled, “American Leadership at a time of Global
crisis” and the celebration of the 25 year anniversary
of the Washington Times on May 15-19, 2007 and in Hawaii
in June 17- 21, 2007. These events were sponsored by the
Washington Times foundation and the International federation
for World Peace.
These events featured over 20 world Presidents, Prime
Ministers, Ambassadors, scores of international religious,
academic, political leaders and national media executives.
She continues to participate at this level internationally.
She is instrumental for creating the Village of Hope,
which is now the much-heralded initiative to change the
care of African Orphans as well as the Foundations Program,
which will serve young people aging out of the Foster
Care system in and housing for the homeless in Michigan.
A
member of the Emerging Minority Businesses Council of
Michigan, she recently received a Certificate of Tribute
from Governor Jennifer Granholm. She has also received
several educational citations and several City of Detroit
and Wayne County certificates of recognition. Two years
ago, she was nominated to receive the Faculty of the Year
award at the University of Phoenix where she teaches MBA
Business courses. Dr. Uwa Osimiri has been featured in
the Detroit News as one of Michigan’s most influential
women.
Dr. Uwa Osimiri received her elementary and secondary
school education in Nigeria and her Bachelor of Science
Degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University
of North Alabama. She received her Masters in Organizational
Management from the University of Phoenix and a Doctoral
Degree in Natural Theology with a focus on Comparative
Study of World Religious Theology, from the Godian Academy
in Ijima Nkporo, Nigeria. She is pursuing a Doctoral Degree
in Clinical Psychology from Walden University.
Dr.
Uwa Osimiri has conducted personal development lecture
series entitled “Write Your Own Story” for
corporations such as DaimlerChrysler Women’s Forum
who have whole-heartedly endorsed her lecture series.
She has conducted numerous workshops at the Museum of
African American History, Cobo Hall, at numerous schools
and universities, international forums and has been a
guest on several television and radio talk shows.
She
is a certified Senior Grant Writer and Instructor. An
accomplished Artist and Author, she has completed several
manuscripts for publications.
As the President and Chancellor for Chiist University,
her duties and responsibilities are to implement and establish
the university’s Policies, Statutory and legal requirements
that ensure Best Practice Guidelines in the management
of assigned academic objectives. By monitoring, maintaining
and sustaining the highest quality standards requirements,
oversees national recruitment drive within regions and
Interview and hire staff candidates, check references
and security clearances. She works with the Board of Regency
to monitor regional budget and financial systems to ensure
that Projects operate within the academic financial parameters.
Nchuaja,
Udee Kama Onyioha
Udee
Kama Onyioha is the co-Founder and Vice President of Chiist
University. He is also Dean of College of Chiist Education.
Additionally as the High Chief Priest of the Global Faith
Ministries of Chiism (Godianism), Nchuaja (Rev.), Udee
K. Onyioha is responsible for Research, Liturgical interpretations
of Chiism spiritual philosophy, and information distribution.
Udee is instrumental for the ongoing promotion of the
cultural benefits of traditional customs which represent
mandates for encouraging self esteem and societal relevance.
He has been featured in the numerous television appearance
for his stance on inter-religious tolerance and cooperation
as well as uplifting the spiritual traditions of indigenous
African societies with international application. His
op-ed writings are widely read at notable African Studies
University departments.
Udee
received his elementary and secondary school education
in Nigeria, and is a CIS alumnus of Devry University.
He also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of
Arts Degree in Natural Theology from The Godian Academy
in Ijima Nkporo, Nigeria. He is pursuing a Doctoral Degree
in Theology.
He
has over 16 years of Computer Information Systems experience
in areas of Business Solutions, Networking, Web Development,
and Digital Arts. Additionally, Nchuaja, Udee K. Onyioha
is also Chief Web Developer for Chiistuniversity.com,
AWEConline.Biz, and Godianism.org. He has held distinguished
positions as Web Developer for the city of Whittier, California,
Network Administrator and Systems Analyst for Mobil Oil,
Nokia Cellular Phones, Deloitte and Touche in Dallas,
Texas, and the Dekalb County Schools System in Decatur,
Geogia.
Dr.
Obie Pearce
Dr.
Obie Pearce is the Vice Chancellor of Chiist University,
and Dean of College of Leadership. A hardworking and self-motivated
individual with a wide range of experience in management
and the teaching profession.
She
obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History (Major)
with a Concentration in Business Management at Oakland
University, Rochester Michigan, U.S.A. This was followed
by a Master of Arts degree in Social Anthropology from
SOAS – University of London, a doctorate in Social
Anthropology, and a PhD in Natural African Theology from
the Godian Academy in Ijima Nkporo, Nigeria. Along with
these have been other qualifications of Excellence.
Dr.
Pearce has over 13 years experience in both personnel
and budgetary management at corporate level, an experience
that stood her in good stead when she branched out as
a Sole Proprietor and Managing Director of a chain of
food and catering company in the United Kingdom. She oversaw
operations that exceeded operational and financial forecasts
to yield unprecedented profits to stakeholders and the
business concern.
She
has conducted lectures in seminars for doctoral candidates
on African History and Religious Cultures at various universities
including a stint at Oakland University, Rochester Michigan.
She conducted and taught Math, English language and African
History at Adult Education centres and institutions over
the years in the USA.
An author and writer of several academic essays, she also,
under the pen name of ‘Chi-chi’, was a contributing
Features and Arts writer for African Concord in London
, an African Lifestyle and Social investigative magazine.
She has edited and published a magazine for a Women’s
Well-being Group.
As
the Vice Chancellor for Chiist University, she assists
in the administrative and the managerial structure of
the institution. Her special duties include promoting
efficiency in line with the University’s policies,
statutory and legal requirements. This ensures that Best
Practice Guidelines in the management of assigned academic
objectives are attained and adhered to. The Office provides
a focal point for the co-ordination, development, integration
and delivery of University business, providing advice
and support to the Chancellor on the full-range of strategic,
policy and management matters.
By

staff candidates within regions, whilst incorporating

Prof.
David Rivkin, PhD
Prof.
David Rivkin, PhD is the Dean of College of Renewable
Energy and Nanosciences. He is currently the Chief Scientist
at the Adamah Group and its' VAC Windpower division. He
holds dual bachelors degrees in Chemistry and Nuclear
Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
Prof. Rivkin went on to persure post-graduate studies
towards a Doctorate in BioPhysics at the University of
California and later completed a PhD in Business Sciences
at the European School of Business at Regents College
with a focus on Small Business Sustainability. He has
over 25 years of professional experience in both industry
and academia.
Prof.
David Rivkin has previously taught at internationally
renown colleges and universities in Europe, the USA and
Israel, including teaching online to students in India
and China. In 2010 Prof. Rivkin was nominated to be a
Fulbright Scholar. He is also an IEEE Senior Member and
Distinguished Lecturer, a NSF Principal Advisor in Clean
Technologies, a Certified Program Manager, a Certified
Corporate Sustainability Expert, and a Certified Green
Energy Professional. He is the winner of numerous technical
and managerial awards and recognized by governments for
his outstanding contributions. As a serial entrepreneur
of several successful ventures including founder and Chief
of Technology for SciEssence Intl. Prof. Rivkins multidisciplinary
background, from biosciences to nanotechnology from health
to energy, provides a broad background in Sustainability.
He now also consults to governments and businesses around
the world on Sustainability and Renewable Energy technologies.

Irving
Enrollment Counselor
Nnamdi has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration
from University of Pheonix, and is currently enrolled
in a Bachelors of Science degree program in Chiist Education
at Chiist University. Nnamdi is responsible for coordinating
student enrollment at our University. An astute communicator,
Nnamdi has worked extensively with the development of
student related activities for Chiist University. He is
prepared to assist incoming students with the fundamental
requirements for enrolment.

Matt
Lewis
Enrollment Counselor
Matt has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business administration
from Bakers College, and also completing his Bachelor
of Science degree in management. Matt has experience in
student enrolment and very familiar with the needs of
students entering the university. Matt will be instrumental
for assuring that the needs of the students are met as
they begin their academic journey at Chiist University.

Adaora Lewis
Adaora has a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business Administration
from New York Institute of Arts. She has worked extensively
as an academic advisor for students attending the AWEC
financial literacy and grant writing classes and workshops.
Adaora is responsible for advising students of the core
class requirements to assure that they are on the right
track and meeting their academic requirements.
