Renewable
energy comes from natural processes that are replenished
continually. In its different forms, it is energy that
derives directly from the sun, heat generated deep within
the earth. Electricity and heat generated from solar,
wind, ocean, hydropower, geothermal resources, biomass,
and biofuels and hydrogen derived from renewable resources
are included in this definition.
Chiist
University is a leader in renewable energy strategies
and sustainability practices. From renewable fuels
to wind power and sustainable design, CU is pioneering
the way in current efforts toward an energy-independent
future.
